Addictions
We approach addictions as adaptive responses that no longer serve you. Addiction, regardless of the substance or behaviors like gambling or sex are often strategies for survival that once worked. We don’t believe in scare tactics, shame, or one-size-fits-all, abstinence only recovery models. Instead, we help you explore the roots of your relationship with substances, build harm reduction techniques, use extinction, and/or abstinence plans that match your life. We coordinate with addiction specialists, detox clinics, and residential facilities to create support networks and use a variety of psychological, emotional, and somatic modalities to help you reconnect with parts of yourself that addiction disconnected you from.
You set the pace. We walk beside you.
