Couples

Yes, we work with couples; of all kinds.

Relationships are living systems, and like all living things, they shift, strain, and sometimes break under pressure. You don’t have to be in crisis to start. In fact, the best time to work on your relationship is before you think it’s falling apart.

We’re here to help you repair and rebuild. Not from scratch, but from what’s still strong. We listen for patterns, help each partner feel heard, and teach new ways to engage with clarity and consideration.

We welcome all couples, including queer, poly, intercultural, and neurodiverse relationships with respect and without assumption.

What can Aces High help with?

  • Strengthening communication and emotional intimacy

  • Resolving recurring arguments or gridlocked conflicts

  • Repairing trust after infidelity or betrayal

  • Navigating cultural or religious differences

  • Adjusting to major life transitions (parenthood, relocation, illness)

  • Rebuilding connection after feeling “like roommates”

  • Differentiation: learning to stay close without losing yourself

  • Relationship check-ins and maintenance before problems arise

Separating or Divorcing Couples

Ending a relationship doesn’t always end the emotional entanglement, especially when shared children, history, or assets are involved. Therapy for separated or divorced couples offers a space to process unresolved tension, navigate transitions, and reshape how you relate to each other now.

We’ll help you find clarity, closure, or a way to stay grounded when life keeps you intertwined. This is especially helpful when new partners, blended families, or court involvement add layers to an already complex situation.

What can Aces High help with?

  • Moving from being romantic partners to co-parents

  • De-escalating conflict and improving communication

  • Managing grief, anger, or betrayal

  • Creating temporary or long-term communication, living, or parenting plans

  • Making space for kids’ emotions without putting them in the middle
